KENDWA ROCKS

Kendwa Rocks is located on the north coast of Zanzibar, south of Nungwi village. Kendwa Rocks takes its name from nearby Kendwa village, and the coral rock formation that offers magnificent views above the beach. A white coral beach extends for kilometres in both directions, excellent for swimming during all tides, no rocks or seaweed. Snorkeling, fishing and diving easily arranged. MNARANI BEACH COTTAGES

“Mnarani” means “lighthouse” in Swahili. Mnarani Beach Cottages is a beach resort hotel, located on the northernmost tip of Zanzibar Island in the village of Nungwi, next to the old lighthouse.

• Standard rooms – There are 12 standard cottages. They are simple, but nevertheless private and comfortable. They are decorated in local Zanzibari style and have an ensuite bathroom with hot and cold water and veranda. 8 of these rooms face the sea and 4 face the gardens.

• Family cottages – The four “family cottages” are more spacious than the standard rooms. They are perfect for couples who need space or have families. They are ensuite with hot and cold water and two of them have an adjoining door for extended families or groups.

• Fisherman house self-contained apartments - Fisherman House is a self-contained type of accommodation. It is located in the garden view area, a few metres from the beach. Fisherman House was built with the idea of creating comfortable accommodation for guests who travel with a big family or in a large group – for example a wedding party.

There are plenty of activities available, from spectacular snorkeling, diving, fishing and sailing to many interesting half and full day excursions on the island of Zanzibar, or walk to the lively village of Nungwi.

MY BLUE

My Blue is situated in a splendid and unique set-up in Nungwi, one of the island’s most beautiful spots, famous for its sunsets and the sea. NUNGWI INN HOTEL

The Nungwi Inn hotel is on the outskirts of Nungwi village beach on the Northern West coast of Zanzibar. It lies on top of the coral ledge overlooking the Indian Ocean.

The Nungwi Inn has 24 spacious double rooms in total. Ten standard rooms overlook the Indian Ocean and give unfettered sea views while the remaining rooms give a flowery garden view. CORAL REEF

The Coral Reef, a very simple framed resort which is suitable for an informal clientele of any age. The Resort is situated on a long hillside marvelously overlooking the sea and offers a splendid view of the Ocean.

It is located in Pwani Mchangani, on the north eastern coast of the island, about an hour from the capital city of Stone Town and easy accessible. It is about 45 minutes of transfer from the airport to asphalt roads.

The 60 rooms, subdivided into standard and superior rooms, are furnished in a local style.
