Vuma Hills Tented Camp is run by Foxes and is located overlooking the Mkata Plains in Mikumi. It is a permanent tented camp. The location is tranquil and comfortable. The camp is accessible to persons with disabilities with assistance. The attentive staff are on hand to help where they can. The decor is colonial and the tent interior colors are warm.

Accommodation
Vuma Hills Tented Camp has a total of 16 en suite tents. The Tents are constructed on a wooden deck and tents are mosquito proof. Each tent has a wooden deck with chairs and a small table to allow clients to relax and take in panoramic views of the Mkata Plains. In room facilities include comfortable double or single beds, luggage rack, bedside table, lamps, sink, toilet, shower and toiletries. Water is heated using solar power.

Public Areas
Vuma Hills Tented Camp public areas are accessible via a ramp. The building is elevated on stilts with wooden flooring, ‘Makuti’ (thatch) roofing and open sides with railing for panoramic views. The setting is cozy, with a central fireplace with seating, the bar, dining and lounge seating. Meals are prepared from fresh locally sourced produce. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are the standard meals. Special needs can be accommodated on request at the time of booking.
