The Seyyida Hotel & Spa is a boutique hotel, nestled in the heart of Stone Town (the World Heritage Site). Stone Town has a unique story of arches, old walls, carved doors, and courtyard gardens that take you on a journey back in time. The name ‘Seyyida’ is derived from the Arabic word meaning ‘princess/ lady of the manor.’ The name of the hotel therefore denotes feminine characteristics as reflected in the aromatic plants featured in its indoor garden: Jasmine, wild basil, queen of the night and the most famous of Zanzibar flowers the ‘Kilua.’ The Seyyida has panoramic views over Stone Town and the Indian Ocean.
