Selous Wilderness Camp (Moivaro) is set along the palm-fringed edges of the wide, meandering Rufiji River, which is one of the largest water systems in East Africa. With its associated wetlands, lakes and swamps, it is one of the most outstanding ecological systems in the whole of Eastern Africa. Due to this unique ecosystem the Selous Game Reserve was designated as a World Heritage site.

Access: 30 minutes from Mtemere Air Strip (road and then scenic boat ride crossing the Rufiji), 5 hrs by road from Dar es Salaam
