Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge has a beautiful location on the edge of the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. It is constructed of local river stones and is covered in vines that blend it with its surrounding environment. The buildings are linked by arched stone passages with timber decks.

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge has a total of 75 rock-built rooms with panoramic private balconies.The room types are:

The walls of the rooms are decorated with cave paintings and each has its own rock- enclosed balcony from which one can enjoy panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater below. The rooms feature brass lamps, embossed leather headboards, wildwood mirrors, Maasai carvings and stylized prehistoric cave paintings, en suite bathrooms, Direct dial telephone and WiFi, Mineral water and toiletries, Bathrobe and slippers.

Dining and Bar
The dining room at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is located above the bar. It has large windows that look out over the picturesque Ngorongoro Crater. The meals are both international and locally inspired. All food and  fruit is sourced from the local communities that inhabit the area.

The bar serves a wide selection of old and new wines, local and imported beers and spirits, soft drinks and freshly made juices and Tanzanian Tea and coffee. Fruit and herbal infusions are also available.

Bush Dining
Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is one of the few lodges that are able to set up a bush dining experience on the crater floor. These are barbeques that they set up table and chairs, with a bush kitchen and bush bar. These are set up at dedicated sites.
