Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp is located in an area that has towering granite rocks (kojpes). It is in the wildebeest migration corridor. Mbuzi Mawe is a permanent tented luxury camp. The nearest airstrips are Seronera and Lobo.

There are 16 spacious tents that are spread out amongst the rocky outcrops, to ensure privacy. The tents have been built up on a stone platform and each is covered with a thatch roof. They are all accessible via winding stone paths. The rooms have 2 queen size four poster beds with mosquito nets and are en suite, with twin wash hand basins, shower, flushing WC, Electric lighting, 24-hour hot water, WiFi, Laundry, valet and shoeshine services, Mineral water, toiletries, Bathrobe, slippers, Snacks and drinks room service.

There is also a seating area with stylish lamps and easy chairs. On the spacious private terrace are both safari chairs and sun loungers.

Dining & Bar
The dining room is formal set in a classic mess tent. It has a terrace that is also set for diners which offers panoramic views over the Serengeti plains. There is also a stylish bar and lounge. A circular barbeque and campfire form part of the dining experience.
