Intimate Places Camping is a luxury camp that has spacious and comfortable accommodation and is set up in special campsites booked exclusively for an individual group of clients. They are able to provide the ultimate Safari experience. If you are a couple looking for a romantic bush experience, a family wishing to share a truly unique experience together or a group of friends wanting to take time out in their very own special space. Intimate Places Camping are there to turn dreams into reality.
Location of the Camps
‘Intimate Places Camping’ is a truly tailor made experience, they can set up a private and exclusive camp almost anywhere you wish. From the more usual special campsites in Tarangire National Park, Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park to more remote areas such as the lakes of Eyasi or Natron, provided that the clients would like to explore and the place can be reached by 4 wheel drive vehicle.
Accommodation
Each sleeping tent consists of a bedroom measuring, a dressing area and a separate shower and toilet. The dressing area, shower and toilet are all “open air” so as to heighten the experience of living as one with your surroundings. Despite being able to enjoy some breathtaking views as clients prepare themselves for the day ahead, privacy is still assured due to the clever design of the tents. The cover is made from ‘insect proof’ netting ensuring that the bathroom and dressing room areas are a sealed unit with the sleeping area so as to keep out unwelcome visitors. Rest assured that in the unlikely event that it rains during the clients stay, then the main tent flysheet can easily be extended by the camp crew so as to ensure that all of the tent remain dry at all times.

As an added convenience, each tent is provided with enough power for lighting as well as for charging mobile telephones, cameras and laptop computers. This power is made available through a system of inverters and batteries which are charged by the camps generator whilst the clients are out on game drives.
Facilities
There are a number of different ‘mess’ tents of different dimensions which are used according to the size of family or group to be accommodated. The smallest of these is for 2 persons only whereas the largest will accommodate up to 16 people with ease. The ‘mess’ tents are designed to provide comfortable dining and recreation for those moments when the clients are not out and about exploring the area and viewing the wildlife and birdlife.Evenings are spent around the all important camp fire exchanging stories about the day’s events and making plans for the days ahead. Each camp has a well stocked bar which serves a selection of spirits, wines, beers and minerals, the cost of which is included in the accommodation rates. The friendly camp staff will also be delighted to assist the clients with their laundry requirements, at no extra charge.
Activities
The services offered are limited to the provision of accommodation, food, drinks. They do not offer game drives and other excursions.
| STAR-GAZER TENT The ‘star-gazer’ tent has specially designed large (perfectly waterproof) ‘windows’ above the bed which allows the clients to gaze up into the magical starlit African night sky from the comfort of your bed.
