Gombe Forest Lodge takes pride in the fact that they maximize conservation and have eco-friendly practices that lower disturbance to the natural environment, in the design and operation of the camp, yet concurrently excelling in luxury and service. It is the only tented camp in the Park, used exclusively by their clients.

After a hard day of climbing hills tracking Chimpanzees, Gombe Forest Lodge is the perfect place to wind down, be pampered and re-energized for your next adventure.

The lodge’s spacious 8 luxury tents, set on raised wooden platforms which are shaded by huge mango trees along the lake shore. The room configurations are as follows:

In room facilities include: four poster bed with mosquito net, en suite bathroom with shower, basin on a wooden fitted cupboard, flush toilet, Hot and Cold running water throughout the day, bathroom accessories, writing desk, bedside tables, luggage rack and dressing table with chair, power point for charging of electrical equipment, bottled water and drinking glasses, covered porch with chairs and coffee table for enjoying the views over Lake Tanganyika with the orange-red sunsets outlining the Congo Mountains and silhouettes of local fishermen setting their lanterns to illuminate the lake, like fire flies during the darkest of nights.

Lounge and Dining
Gombe Forest Lodge has a combined lounge and dining space that is built on a raised wooden deck with a large railed porch. There are also public toilets with wash hand basins in the public areas.

Child Policy
Children under the age of 15years are not permitted on Chimpanzee trekking. All Children under the age of 15years should be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times – No Baby Sitting Services available.
