Expedition Summary and Information
This short private Safari covers the highlights of Tanzania with a 3 days Safari to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater, and 4 days beach holiday in Zanzibar in the Ras Nungwi on the East Coast of Zanzibar.
All Safaris are private and are organised exclusively for you and your travel partners. You will be allocated a safari vehicle and driver who will be solely at your disposal for the duration of your safari in Tanzania. All packages can be adjusted to suit the dates that are convenient for you. Airport transfers and booking of hotels in Arusha or Dar es Salaam can be arranged on request. Please let us know.

Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Our representative will pick you from your point of arrival and transfer you to the Moivaro Coffee Lodge in Arusha. Your tour organizer will come to introduce you to your driver/ guide and give a short briefing about your scheduled plan. Dinner will be served at the same venue. Your Safari starts tomorrow.
Day 2: Departure to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro
Leave at 9:00 a.m. to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch for a game drive in the park. In the afternoon we head to Ngorongoro, where we overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Ngorongoro Farm House (Karatu). All meals included.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning game drive with a picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, to name a few. In the afternoon (optional Walking Safari on the crater rim). Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Ngorongoro Farm House (Karatu). All meals included.
(Optional Tour / Excursion: On this day it is also possible to do a full day Walking Safari in the Olmoti Crater or Empakaai Crater, in the Ngorongoro Highlands)
Day 4: Zanzibar
After breakfast you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar we will do the Spice Tour on the way to the North Coast. You will learn about spices and herbs that Zanzibar is famous for. Overnight at Ras Nungwi or similar, on the North Coast.
Day 5 & 6: Beach Hotel Zanzibar
Relax and enjoy Zanzibar’s North Coast around the Ras Nungwi or similar. There are lots of water-sport activities.
Day 7 - Departure
After breakfast we will transfer you to Stone Town - Zanzibar. On arrival, start the Stone Town Tour and enjoy the rich heritage of Zanzibar all day! Dinner and overnight at Tembo Hotel.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast we will take you to the airport.
